Long Bay Property is a 3 acre tropical estate directly on the beach which contains Long Bay House and Long Bay Cottage, each with its own entrance and beach access. 

Located 180 miles due east of West Palm Beach, on Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Long Bay House and Cottage sit on the highest point of Long Bay Beach, rated one of the top ten most beautiful beaches in the Bahamas, with pure white sand and turquoise water perfedct for swimming, snorkeling, sun bathing and relaxing.  Long Bay House and Cottage also overlook Black Sound, our inland harbor. 

The Atlantic Ocean is visible to the north and Black Sound is visible to the south.  Walk along the two miles of private white sand beach complete with two ocean-side decks or explore the Island with rental bikes or a golf cart. There are many companies that provide services to fish, dive, or snorkel either in a group with a local dive master or fishing guide. You can rent larger boats or go on tours with Captains or guides to other Islands.

Picnics, shopping and sightseeing can be yours to enjoy, you may also choose to explore the uninhabited Islands that surround Green Turtle Cay, with secluded beaches they are ideal for shelling or a quiet picnic. Tables and grills provided by the locals allow you to safely enjoy these Islands.

Long Bay  House has handsome Abaco-pine living areas, a cathedral ceiling, a library and magnificent views.  It has two master bedrooms furnished with king beds, each with an en suite bath, and one of the bedrooms has a bunk room with two twin beds, a full sized modern kitchen, a dining room with seating for eight, and screened porch that also has dining for eight. Off the kitchen is the large master bedroom with king size bed and a large bathroom with access to the beach.

In the center of the house is the large living room which opens to the screened porch.  Both of these spacious areas overlook the Atlantic Ocean. On the other side of the house, off the living room, is the second large bedroom with a king-sized bed and bathroom.  A bunk room is accessible from this bedroom also. 

Outside, on the back side of the home enjoy the "new" modern, cocktail-friendly, swimming pool, in-pool seating on three sides with easy access wide steps that will accommodate everyone safely. The pool is surrounded by large, open and covered deck areas for relaxing in or out of the sun. 

Long Bay House also includes a "Widow's Walk" observation tower atop the pool house from which you can take in the ocean breezes and the 360-degree views of the entire island and surrounding cays.

Long Bay Cottage is perfect for a couple.  The cottage is accessed by a private driveway and entrance.  It has a large bedroom with en suite bath, full size kitchen and sitting/tv room.  It has a deck overlooking the ocean and has its own beach access.  The cottage has central air conditioning.

is very easy. It is located 180 nautical miles east of West Palm Beach. You can fly directly from the cities of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Jaacksonville, Daytona beach and Orlando. We are serviced by many small and large airlines including Bahamasair, Twin Air/Calypso, Continental and American Airlines.  You book your flight to Treasure Cay, Abaco, Bahamas, airport code TCB, which is a port of entry with a Customs and Immigration. There are also flights into Marsh Harbor which is 30 miles from us and a 30-40 minute taxie ride to our ferry docks

After clearing immigration, you will take a short 3-5 minute Taxi ride to the Green Turtle Ferry Dock, where you will board the "Bolo" water taxi and tell the Captain that you are staying at the Long Bay House or cottage, and he will take you right to the town dock. You will be met upon arrival and taken up to the house and settled in, where everyone in your party can begin to enjoy all the amenities this paradise has to offer, relax and start the pleasant adjustment to a style of Island Living.
